Rebecca and Jason met and fell in love in 1996 while studying abroad in Lausanne, Switzerland. Both earned their Photography BFAs from The Savannah College of Art & Design, before moving to Brooklyn, NY. For the next decade, Rebecca rose through the ranks at Magnum Photo Agency and PDN Magazine, while Jason honed his craft as a lighting and camera assistant to renowned portrait and fashion photographers like Annie Leibovitz, Nadav Kander, and Paola Kudacki. Throughout this time, they photographed luxury weddings under the representation of Ira Lippke Studios. Now living in Los Angeles, CA, where they raise three children aged 9 to 15. Walker Studios is the culmination of a 25-year artistic collaboration, blending Rebecca & Jason's passion, expertise, and vision into a shared creative force.
